An exciting SATSA and Wesgro​ adventure awaits our Tour Operator / DMC members in the Garden Route!

Scheduled as a pre-SATSA conference fam trip, the gorgeous Garden Route Fam offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the destination, experiencing glistening coastlines, grand mountain vistas, gastronomic delights, and the gracious hospitality of one of South Africa's most picturesque and iconic regions.

Taking place between 11 to 14 August 2024, the fam will conclude at the SATSA 2024 "This is Us" Conference at the Arabella Hotel in the Overberg, just in time for the Welcome Dinner.

Twenty Tour Operators / DMC Buyers will have the opportunity to participate in adventures, network with top products, and gather experiences, insights, and connections to enhance tour offerings and guest experiences.

Our adventure begins in Oudtshoorn, the world's ostrich capital, where you'll experience impressive caving excursions and thrilling safari drives. From there, we'll travel to George, a charming town that seamlessly blends cultural heritage with contemporary amenities. Next, we'll head to Wilderness, where you can enjoy activities like cycling and marvel at the stunning Map of Africa viewpoint. Savour a delicious Boma Dinner before diving into adrenaline-pumping adventures in Tsitsikamma. As we begin our return journey, take in the marine wonders on a scenic sail across the blue seas. Finally, we'll arrive back at Arabella just in time for the SATSA Conference Welcome Dinner for attending and then the final leg back to Cape Town International Airport.

Cost

A R 1,000 commitment fee will be applicable for the 20 selected participants, along with flights and related travel arrangements to the departure and return point, Cape Town International Airport (with a stop at Arabella on return).

Included:

- Activities, meals, accommodation, and ground transport from Cape Town International Airport return.

Excluded

- Travel costs to and from the departure point pre and post-the-fam trip.

- Drinks, items of a personal nature, and gratuities are not included.
