We are thrilled to announce Andrew Boraine as the esteemed keynote speaker at this year's SATSA Annual General Meeting.

With an illustrious career spanning four decades, Andrew is a renowned independent partnering and systems change practitioner, deeply involved in South Africa's political, local government, urban, economic, and sustainability change processes.

As a student leader and anti-apartheid activist, Andrew's journey began with a strong commitment to justice and equality, values that have guided him throughout his career. He played a pivotal role as a negotiator during the post-apartheid years, contributing to the constitutional department of Nelson Mandela's government.

With a wealth of experience in the development sector, including serving as Cape Town's first post-apartheid City Manager and founding the Western Cape Economic Development Partnership (EDP), Andrew possesses invaluable expertise in economic and urban development. His remarkable ability to foster cross-sector partnerships has been instrumental in driving positive change for the common good.

At the SATSA AGM, Andrew will share his insights on partnering with local municipalities to achieve successful outcomes. His talk promises to inspire and equip members with strategies to create meaningful partnerships for a more inclusive, prosperous, and sustainable future.

Join us as Andrew Boraine takes the stage, and together, let's explore the power of partnership in shaping a brighter tomorrow for South Africa.
